A restored reef begins with just one small coral nubbin. Through your adoption, this nubbin will be carefully fragmented and nurtured until it is strong enough to fuse with others and be transplanted back into the ocean.
However, cleaning and maintenance require significant resources, as the process must be carried out regularly and systematically until the coral is ready for transplantation.
